Biography
Adele is an Associate Attorney at GEM, practicing in all areas of family law. She graduated from the prestigious Washington University School of Law, where she received the Family Law Award, which is bestowed upon only one member of the graduating class who is most adept and committed to the practice area. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Adele was recognized as one of the 30 most influential women of her class. Adele is passionate about assisting families and children during times of transition and has the tenacity required to build and implement solutions.
Adele completed a judicial externship in juvenile and domestic relations court, where she gained invaluable firsthand experience observing judges’ reasoning and decision-making processes. This experience enhanced her understanding of effective courtroom presentation, evidence evaluation, and the factors judges consider when making critical family law determinations. Her close work in judicial chambers provided practical knowledge of courtroom procedures and helped develop her strategic approach to case preparation and presentation.
Adele additionally worked in private practice at a boutique family law firm where she benefited from mentorship by industry leaders who shared decades of collective experience in complex family law matters. This mentorship refined her skills in negotiation, settlement conferences, and alternative dispute resolution methods. Adele additionally spent time working at an estate planning practice, which complemented her family law focus by developing expertise in complex financial analysis, asset division strategies, and long-term financial planning – crucial skills for comprehensive family law representation.
Adele tailors her approach to each client's unique circumstances, understanding that family law matters require both legal expertise and emotional intelligence. Recognizing that family law extends beyond traditional legal boundaries, she works closely with clients to ensure their cases are handled in a personal manner that facilitates a smooth transition through and beyond the legal system. Adele serves clients throughout the Denver metro area, combining her professional dedication with an active personal life. A former internationally ranked jump roper, she now enjoys exploring Denver's coffee scene and dining establishments, visiting national parks, practicing Pilates, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends, and, most importantly, their dogs.
