Biography

Alexandra (Alex) Lanzetta is an Associate Attorney at GEM Family Law, practicing in all areas of family law. Alex began her legal career as a Law Clerk at GEM, honing her skills in parenting and property disputes early on. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate the challenges of family law with clarity, empathy, and thoughtful advocacy.

Alex earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she received a Certificate in Civil Rights and Remedies. Alex represented clients in civil protection order matters through the Civil Litigation Clinic, and understands the dynamics of domestic violence and abuse in family law matters.

Originally from Connecticut, Alex moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Boulder, where she graduated summa cum laude with a double major in History and Psychology and a minor in Business. Alex was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious academic honors society. This educational background is particularly well-suited to complex family law matters, that involve mental health complexities, closely held businesses, accounting issues, and the like.
