Q. How long have you been a paralegal?
A. I have been doing legal assistant and paralegal work for over 5 years.
Q. Have you ever worked in any other areas of the law?
A. I have worked exclusively in family law.
Q. What drew you to family law?
A. I was presented with an opportunity in late 2018 to work for a Family Law Firm that I couldn’t pass up.
Q. What do you enjoy most about family law?
A. I find incredible satisfaction from helping people through what may be the most difficult experience they will ever endure.
Q. What do you think makes you stand out among other professionals?
A. I previously worked at the same restaurant for about 12 years, most of that time as the general manager. I cultivated customer service skills which have translated seamlessly to my family law career. You can be confident that I will work on your case with a professional business mind without sacrificing compassion and empathy for your situation.
Q. Are you originally from Colorado? If so, what do you love most about it? If not, what brought you to Colorado and what do you love most about it?
A. I am from Colorado, and I have lived here my entire life. I love to feel the sunshine on my face on a cool winter morning and I love to look west at our beautiful mountains.
Q. When you are not working at GEM Family Law, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
A. When I am away from work, I enjoy walking, fishing, and e-biking our wonderful trail system in the Denver metro area. When the weather is not ideal for outside activities, I enjoy nature documentaries, shows that make me laugh, and customizing lava lamps.
Q. What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A. I only know one trick with a lightsaber, but it’s a good one. Zhoom Zhoom.
