Paralegal

Elise is a paralegal at GEM Family Law, providing support to clients in the Firm’s Estate Planning department. Elise comes to GEM after working in another Denver-area estate planning firm, where she gained invaluable experience preparing and editing hundreds of trust and estate plans, probate documents, and estate tax returns. Elise enjoys working directly with clients and attorneys to problem solve and create long-term solutions.

Elise transitioned to the legal field and obtained her Paralegal Certificate after a career as a school psychologist in Denver. Elise brings her compassion and understanding, as well as her outstanding organizational skills to her work at the Firm. Elise has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology.

In her free time, Elise enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, attending concerts and gardening.
